Call for Abstracts & SBSSI Best Paper Awards

ATTENTION YOUNG NEUROSURGEONS!

Are you ready to showcase your research and innovation in skull base surgery?

We invite all delegates including practicing neurosurgeons and trainees to submit structured abstracts for 26th Annual Conference of the Skull Base Surgery Society of India (SKULLBASECON 2025), to be held at The Leela Palace, Chennai.

Submission Guidelines

  • • Abstract submissions will be accepted through online submission only.
  • • The scientific method(s) must be sound and result(s) or outcome(s) should be mentioned in the abstract.
  • • Abstracts should have expected scientific merit.
  • • Text to single space, number of words not to exceed 300.
  • • Presenting author should be listed as the primary author.

SBSSI Best Paper & Excellence Awards

  • • All submitted abstracts will undergo a blinded review by an expert panel.
  • • The data presented should be the original work of the author and not plagiarized from any other source.
  • • The top 10 abstracts will be selected for platform presentation in front of a jury during the Award Paper Competition.
  • • Winners will receive the SBSSI Excellence Certificate, and the best three presentations will be awarded attractive prizes!

Scholarships

  • • The presenters of the award papers who won will have their registration fee reimbursed, provided they attend all registered sessions.

    • Note: Reimbursement will be made via cheque during the valedictory function, and only in person.

  • • The first 20 resident/fellow/young neurosurgeon registrations whose papers are selected for presentation will also receive complimentary twin-sharing accommodation. We will provide it to them.
